Angela Spence-Bedard (RN, BN, MN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializes in primary care and healthcare in First Nations communities since 1994.

She has 30 years of experience providing healthcare in rural, isolated and semi-isolated Aboriginal communities across Canada. She is a fluent speaker of the Cree language.

Angela is a certified Nurse Psychotherapist (CNP) in Manitoba, specializing in trauma informed care, CBT, and mental health support for individuals and families.

She has served as the Communications Director for the Nurse Practitioner Association of Canada and has held board positions with the Indigenous Nurses Association of Canada and the Nurse Practitioner Association of Ontario. She is the co-director of Askii Outreach Inc. founded in 2003- a healthcare consulting firm focused on community development and health promotion in communities.
